What is Stepping Stone?
Organized in 1972, Stepping Stone began with two staff members providing services to six individuals. Today, Stepping Stone is no longer just a school; it has become a comprehensive service provider to people with developmental disabilities and their families.
OUR PROGRAMS
At Stepping Stone, we provide comprehensive care for children aged from birth to five with various developmental needs, offering specialized services like educational training, therapy, and family support. Our Infant Care Program caters to infants at risk due to premature birth or low birth weight, aiming to prevent future developmental challenges. Additionally, our Jobs+Plus vocational division empowers adults with developmental disabilities through job training and employment opportunities, while Cedar Ridge offers a unique, family-like living environment for adults with developmental disabilities.

Adult Developmental Day Treatment (ADDT) offers assessments, as well as habilitative, supervised living, prevocational, therapeutic, and educational services provided by a licensed adult day treatment clinic

Since 1972, Stepping Stone has evolved into a comprehensive service provider, encompassing programs like Therapeutic Preschool, Adult Development Center/Jobs Plus, Cedar Ridge, and a Medicaid Waiver initiative.
